TorturArte was created by Oscar Soto, an artist originally from Ecuador and now based in Melbourne.

With over 10 years of experience in art, and creative work, Oscar brings a strong visual background into tattooing, combining technical precision with a style that is personal, expressive, and built around the individual.

For Oscar, tattooing is more than just putting ink on skin. It’s about creating something that feels right for the person wearing it. Every piece is approached with thought, care, and respect for both the design and the body it belongs to. 

Whether it’s a small custom piece, a full colour design, black and grey work, or a cover up, the goal is always the same: to create tattoos that feel personal, look strong, and hold their impact over time.

From Ecuador to Melbourne

art has always been a big part of oscar’s life.

From a young age, he was drawn to drawing, visual expression, and the kind of creativity that tells a story without needing words. Over time, that passion grew into a deeper connection with tattooing, graffiti and street art, and the idea of creating art that people carry with them every day. 

Moving from Ecuador to Australia was a major step, and building TorturArte has been part of that journey. 

What started as a personal vision has grown into a creative space focused on individuality, self expression, and meaningful work. TorturArte reflects both Oscar’s artistic roots and the direction he continues to build here in Melbourne.
